Company Introduction
Since its establishment in 1999, Samkang M&T Co., Ltd. (SKMT) has localized the production of Heavy
nWall Thickness Pipes and grown to one of the leading suppliers in Korea. With the establishment of
nGoseong Factory in 2008, SKMT has made a new leap forward to construction for Mega- & Giga-hull
nblocks for ships, offshore floating units and for offshore production facilities i.e fixed production
nfacilities, FPSO, FPU, and others. Based on the experience, SKMT became a worldwide construction
ncompany. SKMT is extending its business as an EPCIC Contractor on the offshore oil and gas facilities.
nIn September 2017, SKMT erged STX Goseong Yard for extending its core business areas to new
nbuildings, repairs/retrofits of ships, conversion of ships into FPSO, FSRU, and other floating units. Now,
nSKMTs fabrication area has increased twice and has 1,000,000 Ton fabrication capabilities yearly.
